With the win, the Wildcats (12-4) earn the conference's automatic qualification into the NCAA Division II North Region Tournament, making their second straight appearance into the NCAA bracket. They now await their matchup and destination with the Selection Show set for 10:00 p.m. on Sunday night on NCAA.com. It is the Wildcats' first CACC Tournament Championship title after appearing in four previous title games. They've won the CACC Regular Season each season since 2024. The Wildcats led 2-1, but then not again until the fourth quarter. Carter Barrie gave the Wildcats the lead for good with a man-up goal before Dom West made it a 10-8 game with 6:27 left. HFU scored with 5:37 to play but the Wildcats hung on to advance to the CACC Tournament Championship. They will be seeking for their first conference title in program history on Saturday at home. The win sets up a rematch of last year's semifinal with No. 2 Jefferson in Philadelphia. The Wildcats have advanced to the semifinal round every year since 2019 but have not been able to get over the hump and into the championship match. Ella Royer led the goal scorers with four goals and two assists, adding five draws. Alea Javorowsky had a team-high seven points with two goals and five assists. Both Royer and Javorowsky recorded their 100th point of the season in the win.</description>

Dominican came into the weekend averaging 8.2 runs per game and second to the Wildcats in most offensive categories, but the Wilmington pitching staff held them to just nine total runs between the two contests. The sweep, coupled with Chestnut Hill taking two over Goldey-Beacom, puts Wilmington in sole possession of first place in the CACC with a 20-6 conference record after Saturday. Brett Walmsley led the way for the Wildcat offense, going 5-5 with a double, two homers, 3 walks, and six RBI between the two games. Chase Fleming also drove in six runs as he went 5-7 with a homer and two doubles, while Tyler Pirrung went 5-6 and scored seven runs to overtake Christian Adorno for the program record in runs scored at 140 and counting. Wilmington leads the conference in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, runs, and stolen bases. Ponce led the way out of the leadoff spot, going 4-5 with four singles and an RBI. Cordrey went 3-3 off the bench with a double and a triple, Quinn had a pair of singles, and Hostetter had a base knock to go along with his home run.       <description>Cam Trego hit for the cycle in leading the #WilmUBaseball team to a 16-11 CACC victory over Holy Family on Tuesday afternoon at Wilson Field. The win completed a three-game CACC sweep of the Tigers, as the Wildcats are now 20-9 overall and tied atop the CACC standings with a 12-3 record. Cam Trego (Coatesville, Pa.) batted 4-for-5, hitting a leadoff triple in the seventh inning to complete the Wildcats' first cycle in its NCAA era. He homered to lead off the first inning, doubled in the third, and singled in the fourth as well. Not to be outdone, Tyler Pirrung (Newark, Del.) went 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts on Tuesday and now stands atop the program leaderboard with 71 career stolen bases. He took over the top spot from Christian Adorno, who stole 70 bags from 2014-18. He is a perfect 23-for-23 this year in stolen base attempts.</description>

Game 1: Karen Sickle picked up the win after covering the final 1.1 innings, setting down all four batters she faced with a punchout. Kasey Xenidis started and pitched well, giving up five runs (four earned) on six hits, a walk, and two strikeouts over 5.2. Mia Keenan (double), Maddie Vollmar (triple), and Mia Lane (two-run homer) all had extra-base hits in the game. Vollmar was the only Wildcat with multiple hits, going 2-3, and she and Lane each had two RBI. Game 2: Hitchens went the distance, allowing four runs (three earned) on ten hits with five strikeouts. Vollmar, Lane, and Maloney all ripped doubles, with Lane going 2-3 and Maloney 3-3. Maloney was also the lone Wildcat with two RBI.</description>

      <description>A stout defensive effort on Wednesday has #WilmUWLax at 9-0 on the season, defeating Roberts Wesleyan, 16-6, at the WU Athletics Complex in the team's final nonconference game of the year. Despite being outshot, 24-23, the Wildcats, anchored by sophomore goalkeepers Ashleigh Lawry and Allison Schiavone, only allowed three goals in each half. Lawry made eight stops in the first half before Schiavone came on and recorded four stops in the second half. Kirra Crowley paced the offense with five goals and an assist, adding five draws, and two caused turnovers. Alea Javorowsky had a goal and five assists while both Anastasia Giannoulis and Ella Royer added two goals and two assists each. Royer chipped in with five draws as well. Lea Rycroft and Tristan Holdsworth finished with three goals as well.</description>

      <description>#WilmUBaseball swept a doubleheader with Caldwell on Saturday, winning Game 1 11-1 in seven innings before coming away with a much closer 2-1 victory in Game 2 at Wilson Field in a CACC matchup. Wilmington scored runs in three of the first four innings in Game 1 before breaking out for six in the seventh to trigger the run rule. The only Wildcat scoring in Game 2 came on two third-inning runs, while Caldwell made some noise in the seventh in an ultimately unsuccessful comeback attempt. Tyler Pirrung batted 7-for-8 with 3 RBI in the doubleheader while Cam Trego went 3-for-7 with a double and a homer, with four RBI. Tyler Quinn had three caused turnovers and three ground balls, while Gunner Settar finished with five ground balls. Daniel Flynn made six stops in goal while Connor Widmer went 11-for-18 on faceoffs as well.</description>

      <description>#WilmUBaeball clinched the CACC season series over Bridgeport with a 12-4 victory in the rubber match on Sunday afternoon at Wilson Field. Following the CACC split on Saturday on the road, the Wildcats (11-7, 3-2 CACC) came home and knocked out 14 more hits, scoring in six of their eight at-bats to win the three-game series. Chase Fleming went 3-for-5 with a triple and five RBI while Brandon Grygo finished 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Cam Trego was a homer shy of hitting for the cycle, going 3-for-4 with a run scored. Tyler Pirrung went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI while Justin Hernandez went 2-for-2 with two walks, an RBI, and three runs scored.</description>

      <description>A sixth consecutive win to start the season is a new #WilmUWLax program record, as the Wildcats defeated D'Youville, 22-7, on a snowy Thursday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. The win moves the Wildcats to a perfect 6-0, surpassing the 2006 team that started the season with five straight wins. More milestones were surpassed in the game as well, as Alea Javorowsky became the 13th NCAA Division II student-athlete to surpass 200 career assists and Ella Royer became the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's all-time leading scorer, now with 309 career goals. Ella Royer finished with seven goals and three assists while Alea Javorowsky a goal and added six assists. Tristan Holdsworth scored four goals and dished out five assists, while Leah Rycroft scored four goals to go with two assists, three draws, and two ground balls. Caitlyn Welker led the defense with four ground balls while adding two caused turnovers, while both Mia Bucs and Eden Ward had three caused turnovers each.       <description>A first-half scoring barrage powered #WilmUMLax to a 30-1 victory over Caldwell at the WU Athletics Complex on Wednesday in the first CACC matchup of the year for either team. Wilmington's goal scoring was fast and furious in the opening 30 minutes, as they scored 10 times in the first quarter and 13 in the second. The Wildcats had 15 different goal scorers in the contest, led by Kyle Parker's four, while Andrew Dzubak, Carter Barrie, Josh Lovely, and Cole Heinold each recorded a hat trick. Brian McGarvey and Connor Widmer each scooped up seven ground balls, and Aiden Vicidomini was right behind them with six. Cole Heinold recorded four ground balls to lead non-faceoff players. The three faceoff men were stellar, combining to go 31-for-34. Vicidomini was a perfect 10-for-10, Widmer went 11-for-13, and McGarvey went 10-for-11. The Wildcats finish the season on a positive note, as they finish 2025-26 with a 6-14 conference record and a 10-18 mark overall. Dominican's loss settles them into the sixth seed in the upcoming CACC Tournament. Justin Perez led all scorers with his 33 points, going 6-11 from deep and 7-8 at the line. He also pulled down four rebounds and registered an assist in his final collegiate game. The rest of the seniors in the starting lineup played well too, as Jordan Moore reached 10 points with three rebounds, Hiram Alexander picked up nine points with a team-high seven rebounds and two steals, and Fidel Mpanzo scored five with three rebounds and two assists across 22 minutes, the most he's played as a Wildcat. Jaiden Guy was second on the team with 15 points, also pulling down five rebounds with four assists and three steals.       <description>Another fast start carried #WilmUMLax to a victory, opening its 2026 home slate with an 11-6 win over Barton on Saturday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. With the win, the Wildcats have started the season 2-0 for just the second time in program history, joining the 2020 team that started 5-0 before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Saturday, the Wildcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead before leading 6-2 after the first quarter. Four more goals in the second quarter gave the Wildcats a 10-2 lead at the halftime break. They only scored one goal in the second half, taking an 11-2 lead in the third quarter, but hung on as Barton could only close the gap with four goals the rest of the way. Andrew Dzubak led with five goals while Ian Betts scored three goals and added an assist. Josh Weston scored two goals and Gavin Paraschak had a goal and an assist. The Wildcats shot 59.4 percent from the floor for the game, including 8-of-16 from deep. The Wildcats outscored the Lightning (4-3, 2-2 CACC), 56-28, in the paint, and 25-11 off turnovers. Jaiden Guy scored 18 of his game-high 25 points in the second half, adding eight assists, five rebounds, and two steals as well. Tre Hawkins scored 23 points and 11 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the year. Akeem Taylor added 12 points with seven rebounds while Denim Perkins and Jaylin Horsey scored 11 points each.       <description>It was nerve-wracking waiting to hear the magical words, but #WilmUMSoccer finally did see their name appear in the NCAA DII Super Region 1 bracket, earning the No. 7 seed and will play No. 10 Roberts Wesleyan in the First Round on Friday. It is the team's seventh trip into the NCAA Tournament but the first since the 2021 season. This is the second time they have made the bracket since the NCAA went to the four Super Region Bracket format in 2021. The Super Region 1 Bracket combined the Atlantic and the East Regions. The first two rounds will be hosted by Franklin Pierce in Rindge, New Hampshire, this weekend. Interviews with head coach Nick Papanicolas and graduate forward Theo Faillon.</description>
