NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has recognized 2,260 student-athletes on its Spring 2026 Academic Honor Roll, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. Wilmington University had 232 student-athletes recognized on the Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Established in 2023-24, the CACC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieve a grade-point average of 3.00 or higher during a semester and are listed on the institution's official squad list for their sport. This spring's total is comprised of athletes from more than 120 teams competing in all 16 CACC championship sports, regardless of season. Each CACC student-athlete is eligible to be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll twice during each academic year.

The CACC Academic Honor Roll honors student-athletes on three levels of achievement. Those earning perfect 4.00 GPAs were granted the Faculty Athletics Representative Award of Distinction. The President's Level was bestowed upon those achieving GPAs of 3.50 to 3.99. Student-athletes earning GPAs of 3.00 to 3.49 for the semester were honored at the Commissioner's Level. A total of 368 student-athletes earned the FAR Award of Distinction in spring 2026.

The Wildcats had 47 student-athletes earn the highest semester honor, taking home the FAR Award of Distinction for having a perfect 4.0 in the spring. The honorees include baseball's Brandon Grygo, Tyler Pirrung, and Dylan Potero; men's cross country and track and field's Niko Licup, Zach Souders, and Carter Sparwasser; women's cross country and track and field's Tiffany Banning, Amy Chomo, Angie Chomo, and Maddie Minnick; men's lacrosse's Carter Earl, Santiago Figueroa, Daniel Flynn, Kiran Gupta, Brendan Macdonell, and Gunner Settar; women's lacrosse's Mia Bucs, Alea Javorowsky, Leah Rycroft, Allison Schiavone, Sophie Shive, and Caitlyn Welker; men's soccer's Bjarmi Eiriksson, Jiung Ha, Mylan LeBaut, Till Rauch, Michiharu Takanashi, Matthew Yi, and Samuel Macy; women's soccer's Mary Kahraman, Cayley Winters, and Meriem Mihoubi; softball's Brianna Greenlaw, and Madison Shama; women's tennis' Molly Carlberg and Liza Sylka; and volleyball's Haley Holland.

Georgian Court University led the conference with 240 representatives on the Spring 2026 CACC Academic Honor Roll. Holy Family University claimed 237 honorees, followed by Wilmington University with 232, with seven institutions boasting 200 or more. The University of Bridgeport saw the most student-athletes, 47, earn the FAR Award of Distinction (4.00 GPA). Georgian Court and Post had 45 such honorees each.
