2019 Season: NCBWA First Team All-American - D2CCA First Team All-American - ABCA Second Team All-American - NCBWA All-East Region Player of the Year - NCBWA First Team All-East Region - D2CCA All-East Region Player of the Year - D2CCA First Team All-East Region - ABCA First Team All-East Region - CACC All-Tournament Team - CACC Player of the Year – one of the best seasons in program history – broke the single season program record by hitting .440 – just the second player ever to hit .400 in the Wildcats’ NCAA era – 77 hits is tied for second most in a single season – scored a new program record 65 runs – 62 RBI is tied for second most in a single season, trailing only teammate Kendall Small’s 63 and tied with 2007 All-American Jason Rust’s 62 – 28 extra base hits is fifth most in a season – 126 total bases is second most to Jason Rust’s 138 in 2007 – eight home runs is tied for third most in a single season – walked 43 times, setting a new season record - .720 slugging percentage is second most in a single season – set a new record with a .548 on-base percentage, just the second .500 on-base percentage in program history – had a 16-game hitting streak from April 17 to May 17 – hit homers in the first two games of the season – had a season high four hits on March 23 in game one at Dominican, going 4-for-6 with a double, four RBI, and four runs scored – also went 4-for-6 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored in game two at Felician on April 9 – had a season high five RBI on May 17 against Franklin Pierce in the NCAA Regionals – batted 4-for-5 with two homers, a double, eight RBI, and four runs scored in a double-header against Bloomfield on March 30 – had four RBI in a game six times.

2018 Season: Redshirt Season

At Chesapeake CC: Played two seasons at Chesapeake CC – led the team with a .374 batting average, 49 runs scored and 22 stolen bases as a sophomore – finished second on the team with 47 RBI and eight home runs as a sophomore – helped team to the Region XX Tournament each season – led the team with a .436 batting average, 63 RBI, 13 home runs, and was second on the team with 20 stolen bases as a freshman – named All-Region XX Division I First Team in both 2016 and 2017 – named All MD-JUCO First Team as a freshman, Second Team as a sophomore.

High School: Four-year letterwinner as a catcher and third baseman at South County High School for head coach Robbie Smith – named Defensive Player of the Year in 2014 – First Team All-Conference in 2015

Personal: Eddie Albert Nevins – son of Jane Nevins – has three younger siblings, Daniel, Delia, and Tess – majoring in psychology at Wilmington University – from Fairfax, Va. – favorite athlete is Coach August – what he misses most about being a kid is climbing trees – if he could date a celebrity, he would date Margot Robbie – considers Kurt Cobain his hero in life – listens to Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” before a game – considers the orca his spirit animal.
