Baseball Ranked No. 4 in NCAA East Region Rankings

NEWARK, Del. - - The NCAA baseball committee announced its first seeded rankings of the 2025 season and the Wilmington University baseball team is ranked No. 4 in the East Region.

Through games played on April 27, the Wildcats are 30-18 overall and enter postseason play at the No. 2 seed in the South Division of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The team they face in the CACC Tournament First Round best-of-three-series, Goldey-Beacom, is ranked second in the first poll.

Conference foe Jefferson tops the East Region poll followed by Goldey-Beacom in second. Bentley is third overall followed by the Wildcats in fourth. Northeast 10 rivals Franklin Pierce and Southern New Hampshire are No. 5 and 6, respectively followed by another CACC foe Dominican in seventh.
