Baseball Leads Conference with 11 on CACC All-Academic Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - The 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball All-Academic Team contains 72 student-athletes, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. The honorees represent 11 conference member institutions.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at the end of the immediately preceding term, must be enrolled for at least two full-time semesters at his/her current institution, and must be a second-year student-athlete at his/her current institution. The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.

CACC champion Wilmington University earned the most honorees in the conference with 11. Four seniors made the All-Academic Team, led by Kor Pritchard's 3.96 cumulative GPA. Sean Glatts carried a 3.80 GPA while Alex Krick (3.72) and Scott Borgmann (3.69) also made the All-Academic Team. Juniors Zack Czarnecki (3.85), Steven Mann (3.72), Tyler Pirrung (3.80), and Cam Trego (3.61) earned their spot on the team, as did sophomores Xavier Cortez (3.80), Chase Fleming (3.53), and Brandon Grygo (3.91).

The University of Bridgeport placed 10 student-athletes on the list, followed by Chestnut Hill College, Goldey-Beacom College, and Post University with nine each. Eighteen qualifying student-athletes own undergraduate GPAs of 3.80 or higher, including six at 3.90 or better.
