It's not how you start but how you finish as #WilmUBaseball needed to dig out of early holes in each game on Friday, winning the CACC Tournament First Round Series against Bridgeport, 17-8 and 9-5, at Wilson Field. The top-seeded Wildcats win the best-of-three series, 2-0, against the 8th-seeded Purple Knights and move on to the double-elimination portion of the CACC Tournament next week. Wilmington erased an 8-0 hole in game one and a 5-4 decifit in the seventh inning in game two. The Wildcats are the defending CACC Tournament Champions. The Wildcats are now 36-15 overall.
