NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - Regular-season competition in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Fall 2025 E Sports season concluded last week. The CACC subsequently announced the playoff matchups for all three games, which are also available on the CACC Championship Central page.
Goldey-Beacom College wrapped up the regular-season title and playoff top seed in Rocket League, earning a 4-2 victory over Wilmington University. The loss dropped Wilmington into third place, setting up a first-round playoff matchup with Post University on Nov. 11.
Bloomfield College completed an unbeaten season in Super Smash Bros. by sweeping both ends of a doubleheader from Dominican University New York. The CACC's Smash champion in both the Fall 2024 and spring 2025 seasons, Bloomfield will be the top seed for next week's conference tournament.
Goldey-Beacom knocked Holy Family University from the ranks of the unbeaten during the teams' final Marvel Rivals matchup. The result created a three-way tie for first place, which the conference broke by using percentage of games won. That metric allowed Wilmington to earn the top seed for the playoffs.
