Milianni Gonzalez Named CACC Marvel Rivals Inaugural Player of the Season, Highlighting Four Named All-CACC in Two Esport Games

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has unveiled its inaugural set of all-conference teams in esports. The Players of the Season and All-CACC Teams for Fall 2025 in the conference's three championship game titles were released today by Commissioner Dan Mara. Voting was conducted by the league's head coaches.

The Wilmington University esports teams were well represented in the inaugural CACC All-Conference Teams, led by Milianni Gonzalez being named the Fall 2025 CACC Marvel Rivals Player of the Season. Joining Gonzalez on the Marvel Rivals All-CACC team is Noah Carney and Spencer Lowe. Keagon Hansell led the Wildcats in Rocket League, being named to the game's All-CACC team.

Milianni Gonzalez (autumngxi) paced Wilmington to a share of the Marvel Rivals regular-season championship and the No. 1 seed for the conference playoffs. Gonzalez earned five MVPs and two SVP performances over 19 maps, including playoffs. She has the highest average healing of any Strategist player in the league at 29,000 healing per map. Autumn averaged 28 assists per map and truly elevated her teammates to success. She is a shot caller, tactician and leader for our team. She is an eternity-level player and has played in the competitive Marvel Rivals Circuit. She has shared her experience and knowledge to boost those around her. She is graduating this Fall 2025 semester with a BS in Graphic Design and a 3.88 GPA.

Noah Carney (CashCarney) is the Marvel Rivals' Team Captain, main shot caller, and strategist. He is a flex player who excels at all roles and allowed the team to play many different compositions. He averaged 23 eliminations per map, adding 11 assists and 18,000 damage per map. His Ultron was our eye in the sky that unleashed unworldly amounts of damage and in the blink of an eye he switches to Iron Fist to keep the dive pressure going. Over 19 maps played over the regular and post season, Carney earned four MVPs on multiple different roles.

Spencer Lowe (Spevan) is an integral part of the Marvel Rivals team as a true main tank.  He averaged 19 eliminations per map and 30,000 dmg blocked per map on the season. His Magneto is unmatched, denying enemy ultimates and securing eliminations. He is also the dive tank. His Venom and Angela created chaos in the backlines of opposing teams. Lowe had one MVP and one SVP performance during the season. Having such a reliable frontline tank was so important for the team. Spencer created stability and space to allow the DPS to find eliminations and keeping the backline safe.

Switching over to Rocket League, Keagon Hansell (Liquid_Rat) was the star player this season. He was stout on defense as well as lethal in front of the goal. He was our leading goal scorer with 21. He also had the most saves on the year. He finished the Rocket League season with 21 goals, nine assists, and 41 saves in 25 games played, getting 78 shots off throughout the season.

The Wildcats went to the CACC Tournament Semifinals in both Rocket League and Marvel Rivals, being the No. 1 seed in Marvel Rivals and the No. 3 seed in Rocket League.

Esports debuted in the CACC during the 2024-25 academic year.  Two game titles – Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. -- were contested during the fall, with Marvel Rivals added for Spring 2025. The Spring 2026 season, with the same three titles, will begin in February.
