Junior Season: Division II PING All-East Region - NCAA DII National Tournament Individual Qualifier - All-CACC - CACC All-Tournament Team (4th) - CACC Golfer of the Week (11/1) – appeared in 12 tournaments as a junior, playing in 31 rounds – had an average round score of 74.55, going 3.10 against the par – finished third in the East region according to GolfStat Rank – finished fourth at the CACC Championship with a 70-77 for a 147 (+5) – finished second overall at the NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament, shooting a 69-73-71 for a 213 (-3) to advance to the NCAA National Tournament – finished tied for 63rd overall at Nationals, shooting an 82-70-72 for a 224 (+8) – also finished second overall at the Dennis Rose Invitational in Hawaii, shooting a low round of the year with a 68-74-68 for a 210 (E) – had 10 rounds of even par or better on the year.
Sophomore Season: CACC All-Tournament Team (T5) – played in nine tournaments as a sophomore, appearing in 19 rounds – shot an average 77.47 while going 5.79 against the par – had a low round of 73 twice on the season, first at the Jay Jennison Cup hosted by Flagler College and again in the first round of the Super Regional Tournament – best finish came at the CACC Championship, tying for fifth overall with a 77-74 for a 151 (+9) – also finished fifth at the head-to-head vs. Concord with a 76 (+4) – finished tied for 22nd at the NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament, shooting a 73-75-78 for a 226 (+10).
Freshman Season: Division II PING All-East Region – CACC All-Tournament Team (2nd) – CACC Player of the Year – CACC Rookie of the Year – All-CACC – played in 13 tournaments as a freshman, competing in 31 rounds – finished with an average score of 74.84 which was 3.03 versus par – shot a season’s best 69 in two different rounds, first in the second round at the Guy Harvey Invitational, and again in the second round at the Buccaneer Invitational – earned medalist honors at the Coaches Invitational Classic, shoting a 74-74-76 for a 224 (+8), tying with teammate Joey Russo atop the leaderboard, but Rucinski won the playoff – also finished atop the leaderboard at the GBC Fall Invite with a 71, but lost in the playoff to teammate Miguel Siercke – finished as the runner-up at the CACC Tournament with a 76-70 for a 146 (+4) – finished T44th overall at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional with an 85-71-77 for a 233 (+17) – finished in T90th at the NCAA National Championships with an 80-74-75 in stroke play – led the team with a 70 in the NCAA National Championship Quarterfinals against Saint Leo.
High School: Number one golfer at Salesianum for all four years – helped lead the team to back-to-back state championships as a junior and senior – named All-State each of his four years.
Personal: Ryan N. Rucinski – son of Bruce and Cheryl Rucinski – has an older sister, Kimberly – majoring in business management at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a PGA Tour player – from Wilmington, Del. – finished AJGA Top 5 in the Philadelphia Runner Championship – favorite athlete is Dustin Johnson – also enjoys playing Fortnite – favorite movie is Borat – favorite professional sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles – the perfect meal would be a large plate of fries.
