NORMAN, Okla. - - The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its NCAA Division II PING All-Region honorees, and the Wilmington University golf team placed two on the list after a successful 2024-25 season.
Noah Wallace (Elkton, Md.) and Pablo Quintero (Bogota, Colombia) were two of the top 12 student-athletes in the East Region, earning a spot on the PING All-East Region Team.
Freshman Noah Wallace was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player and Rookie of the Year, adding an All-Region accolade to his impressive bio. He finished third overall in the East Region according to Scoreboard powered by Clippd, earning a 22.07 average weighted points. In 29 rounds this past year, he has an adjusted Scoring average, earning five top three finishes and a victory at the Penmen Spring Invitational. He finished third in the CACC Championships and then 20th out of 123 at the NCAA DII Atlantic/East Super Regional to end the season.
Senior Pablo Quintero ended his career with an All-Region selection, finishing 12th in the East with an average weighted points score of 14.64. In 29 rounds this year, Quintero had an adjusted scoring average of 75.6, collecting two tournament victories and three top three finishes overall. He first won the Chestnut Hill Invitational in October and then won the Dr. Edwin B Cottrell Invitational in April. He also finished third at the Penmen Spring Invitational in April. His collegiate career ended with a 42nd place finish (out of 123) at the NCAA DII Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament.
Wallace and Quintero were two of six student-athletes from the CACC to earn PING All-East Region. They are joined by Goldey-Beacom's Adrian Bonilla, Post's Joe Ensign, Felician's Pablo Hidalgo, and Dominican's Alexander Lundvall.
