NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University golf team has six tournaments scheduled for the 2025 fall season, including the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship on its home course, as head coach Mark Hall has announced the fall schedule.
The Wildcats returned to the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional in the spring a season ago, but look to improve upon their 11th place finish in the tournament in 2025-26. That chase will start with six tournaments in the fall, beginning with a trip to Charleston, West Virginia, on September 8-9 to compete in the UC Invitational.
They will get a look at the site of the CACC Championship with a CACC Preview at White Clay Creek Country Club on September 11, and then head down to Petersburg, Virginia, on September 15-16, to compete in The Griffin Invitational hosted by Saint Leo.
The final preparation prior to the CACC Championship will be at the 15th Annual Jay Jennison Cup in St. Augustine, Florida, on September 29-30.
It is the first year the CACC Championship will go to a three-day tournament, with 18-holes being played each day. The opening round will be on Sunday, October 5, hosted by Goldey-Beacom College at the Wildcats' home course at White Clay Creek Country Club. The Wildcats are vying for their 11th CACC Championship, but first since 2021.
The 2025 fall season comes to a close at the Post Eagles Invitational on October 13-14 in Watertown, Connecticut.
The Wildcats will also play tournaments in the spring of 2026, aiming to be one of the top 10 teams from the East to be selected to play in the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional Championship in May.
