NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - A pair of Wilmington University golf student-athletes were named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Players of the Week after leading the team to a second-place finish at the UC Invitational earlier this week.
Sophomore Noah Wallace (Elkton, Md.) picked up right where he left off last year, finishing second out of 124 golfers at the UC Invitational. The reigning CACC Player and Rookie of the Year shot rounds of 70-66-70 to finish with a 206 (-4) in the first tournament of the 2025-26 season. He was a stroke off the lead after three rounds of play, earning the CACC Co-Player of the Week.
In his first collegiate tournament, freshman Sebastian Ramos improved with each round, shooting 76-71-67 for a 214 (+4). He jumped up 19 spots with Tuesday's final round 67 (-3), finishing 14th out of 124 overall. He was named the CACC Rookie of the Week for his efforts.
Jefferson's Jaden Minter was the other CACC Co-Player of the Week with Wallace, winning the West Chester Battlefield Classic with a 73-68 for a 141 (-3).
The Wildcats get a look at the CACC Championship course with the CACC Preview on Thursday afternoon before traveling to Petersburg, Virginia, to take part in The Griffin Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
