WILMINGTON, Del. - - After the first round of the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Golf Championship, the Wilmington University golf team is in second place with a 313 (+25) at White Clay Creek Country Club on Sunday.

The CACC Championship moved to a three-round, three-day format this year, and will tee off in the second round on Monday, starting at 9:30 a.m.

The 313 (+25) is three strokes off the lead as Post shot a 310 (+22) in Sunday's round. Goldey-Beacom and Felician are tied for third after shooting identical rounds of 318 (+30).

Noah Wallace leads the Wildcats and is second overall after shooting a 74 (+2). After a double on the par four ninth, Wallace found himself three-over par, but the sophomore bounced back with back-to-back birdies on holes 13 and 14 to get to one-over par. But a bogey on his final hole pushed him back to a 74 (+2) and is two strokes off the lead.

Freshman Sebastian Ramos and sophomore Josh Freeman each shot a 79 (+7) to be in a tie for ninth overall. Ramos was six-over through 11 holes but then got his first birdie on the par-four 13th. Back-to-back birdies on 15 and 16 got him to five-over but he closed out his round with two bogeys to finish at 79 (+7). Freeman birdied the par four sixth to get back to one-over, but he was six-over on the back-nine, finishing with his 79 (+7).

Will Finnerty shot an 81 (+9) in his first round of the CACC Championship, sitting in 18th place overall. He birdied the par four sixth to get back to four-over par, but made the turn at six-over par. He had three bogeys and six pars on the back nine, though, finishing with his 81 (+9).

Keegan Snyder rounded out the Wildcats on the course on Sunday, shooting a 91 (+19) to sit in 32nd overall. Snyder birdied the first hole on the day but was eight over on the front and 11-over on the back to close out his 91.

Felician's Pablo Hidalgo leads after the first round, shooting a 72 (E) round. He had four birdies with a double and two bogeys.

The Wildcats tee off with Post and Goldey-Beacom on Monday, with the first pairings going out at 9:30 a.m.
