NEWARK, Del. - - The first National Collegiate Golf Rankings of the 2025-26 season were released by Scoreboard Powered by Clippd on Wednesday, and the Wilmington University golf team is tops in the East both as a team and individually.
Scoreboard, the official NCAA Golf platform for tournaments and rankings, uses its National Collegiate Golf Ranking System to rank its teams Nationally and Regionally, as well as individual golfers across the three divisions. The rankings are according to the average weighted points, taking into account strokes, finishing positions, and stroke differential in standings, among other categories.
As a team, the Wildcats are atop the East Region with 20.13 average weighted points. That ranks the Wildcats 83rd in all of NCAA Division II. The only other team from the East inside the Top 100 is Adelphi, ranked No. 91 with an average weighted point of 19.47.
Assumption is third in the East Region with a score of 16.45 followed by Southern New Hampshire (16.02) and St. Thomas Aquinas (13.53) to round out the top five.
Individually, Noah Wallace leads all golfers in the East Region and is the highest-ranked Wildcat all-time. In the five tournaments this fall, Wallace has accumulated 33.08 average weighted points, ranking 41st in all of NCAA Division II. The only other Wildcat to sit inside the Top 100 in all of NCAA Division II was Jerry Temple at No. 98 in spring 2014.
Noah Wallace is the only member from the East Region inside the Top 200 nationally, as Southern New Hampshire's Andrew Suprenant is ranked No. 214 with 20.40 average weighted points. CACC Tournament runner-up Pedro Hidalgo is third overall in the East and at No. 245 in NCAA DII with 10.37 average weighted points. Wildcat freshman Sebastian Ramos is seventh in the East and ranked No. 396 in NCAA DII with a score of 15.46.
In 13 total rounds this year, Noah Wallace is averaging an adjusted scoring average of 70.4, winning the CACC Tournament and finishing in the Top 3 four times.
The Wildcats have one more tournament this fall, closing out the season with the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship in North Jersey starting on Monday, October 27.
