NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University golf team finishes the fall season second in the East Region and 96th in NCAA DII, led by sophomore Noah Wallace's 44th individual position, according to the latest National Collegiate Golf Rankings provided by Scoreboard Powered by Clippd.

Scoreboard, the official NCAA Golf platform for tournaments and rankings, uses its National Collegiate Golf Ranking System to rank its teams Nationally and Regionally, as well as individual golfers across the three divisions. The rankings are according to the average weighted points, taking into account strokes, finishing positions, and stroke differential in standings, among other categories.

The Wildcats wrapped up their fall season at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship, a tournament in which Noah Wallace won on the fifth playoff hole. The Wildcats' 18.86 average weighted point is second in the East Region behind only Adelphi's 23.71. Adelphi is ranked No. 65 in NCAA Division II. They are the only East Region teams inside the Top 100.

Noah Wallace (Elkton, Md.) is the only East Region player inside the top 230, sitting at No. 44 with 32.44 average weighted points. Southern New Hampshire's Andrew Suprenant is second in the East and at No. 233 in NCAA DII. Felician's Pablo Hidalgo is third overall and No. 281 in NCAA DII.

In 15 total rounds this fall, Noah Wallace carries a 70.7 adjusted scoring average with five top three performances and two tournament victories.

Wallace and the Wildcats return to tournament action in the spring, playing regular season tournaments to prepare for the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament in May.
