Golf Ranked 4th in Final NCAA DII East Regional Poll Prior to Selections

NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University golf team is ranked fourth in the East Region as the NCAA Division II committee has released its third Regional Rankings earlier this week.

The committee released its third set of regional rankings for all eight NCAA Division II regions. Eight teams were listed in the East Region for the seven available berths in the NCAA Championship.

Wilmington, which owns the CACC's automatic qualifier into the NCAA Championship by virtue of winning the CACC Championship tournament in October, sits in the No. 4 spot, down two slots from the Mar. 27 ranking. Post held steady at No. 7, and Goldey-Beacom is ranked for the first time this spring at No. 8.

With one regular season tournament remaining, the Wildcats are ranked No. 2 in the latest Scoreboard Powered by Clippd Regional Rankings and 132 in the NCAA DII National Ranking. The Wildcats have an average weights points score of 16.78 and an adjusted scoring average of 300.94.

The NCAA will announce the field for the 2026 Division II Men's Golf Championship on April 26. The Atlantic/East Regional Championship will be hosted by the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown on May 7-9 at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pa.

The Wildcats wrap up the 2025-26 regular season with the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartan Shootout in Pomona, New York, on April 19 and 20.
