NEWARK, Del. - - For the fifth consecutive season and 16th time overall, the Wilmington University golf team has been selected to compete in the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament, starting May 7 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Wilmington will be the East's No. 7 seed, earning the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's automatic qualifier after winning the CACC Championship in the fall.
The 2026 NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional will take place from Thursday, May 7 to Saturday, May 9, at the Sunnehanna Country Club, hosted by the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Of the 20 teams in competition, the Wildcats will look to be one of the top three teams at the end of Saturday to advance to the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championship later in May.
The NCAA will also take the top two individual finishers not associated with one of the three advancing teams to go to the National Championship.
The Wildcats enter the Super Regional as the No. 2 ranked team in the East Region according to Scoreboard Powered by Clippd. They are ranked 131st in all of NCAA DII with a 16.70 averaged weighted points and a 300.95 adjusted scoring average.
Sophomore Noah Wallace is the highest ranked play in the East Region according to Clippd, entering postseason play ranked #172 in NCAA DII. Through 28 rounds, he is carrying a 27.63 average weighted points score with two tournament victories and five top three finishes. Sebastian Ramos is 12th in the East Region with a 13.73 average weighted points score while Josh Freeman is 19th with a 12.41 score.
The Wildcats will be first to tee off on Thursday, May 7, with the No. 5's starting at 7:30 a.m.
