Noah Wallace Repeats as Player of the Year; Sebastian Ramos Rookie as CACC Announced Postseason Awards

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - Sophomore standout Noah Wallace has repeated as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Year while teammate Sebastian Ramos earned CACC Rookie of the Year as the conference office announced its postseason awards on Monday.

Joining Wallace and Ramos on the All-CACC team is sophomore Josh Freeman, earning the postseason accolade for the first time in his career. Wallace and Ramos earned the major awards, and the all-CACC team was named, following the final round of conference rankings produced by Clippd, the statistics and rankings provider of NCAA Golf.

Wallace, from Elkton, Maryland, is the CACC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, having won that honor and the Rookie of the Year Award in 2024-25. This season, he is the No. 1-ranked player in the NCAA Division II East Region with an adjusted scoring average of 72.9 over 28 rounds. He was the individual winner of the 2025 CACC Championship tournament in October and has five top three finishes.

Wallace is the third Wildcat to be a two-time CACC Player of the Year and just the second to ever repeat. Dan Ott won the award for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons while Ryan Rucinski won Player of the Year awards in 2015-16 and 2018-19.

Ramos, of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, has an adjusted scoring average of 76.2 for 28 rounds and is the 14th-ranked player in the East Region. Ramos was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team. Ramos becomes the ninth Wildcat to ever earn the CACC Rookie of the Year award.

Freeman, of Middletown, Delaware, is the 20th ranked student-athlete in the East Region according to Clippd. He holds a 75.8 adjusted scoring average and a 12.39 average weights points in 27 rounds. He is coming off a tournament victory at the STAC Spartan Shootout to end the regular season.

Led by Wallace and Ramos, Wilmington earned the CACC team championship will play as the No. 7 seed in the upcoming NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional Championship. The three-round, three-day tournament is slated to start Thursday, May 7, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
