NEWARK, Del. - - The NCAA Regional Advisory Committee announced its first seeded rankings of the 2025 season and the Wilmington University men's lacrosse team is ranked No. 6 in the North Region.
Through games played April 20, the Wildcats are 8-3 overall with an 8-2 record against in-region opponents. They have one regular season game remaining on Friday and then begin postseason play next week.
Saint Anselm leads the way at No. 1 in the North Region followed by defending national champion Adelphi, Pace, Seton Hill, and Molloy. Following Wilmington at No. 6 is Assumption, Bentley, Mercy, and Georgian Court.
The committee will take eight teams to the NCAA North Regional, and for the first time ever accept automatic qualifications from conference tournament champions. The other five teams will be at-large selections.
The first round will be played on May 7, with all four games being played at individual sites.
The Wildcats head to Felician on Friday with an opening face-off set for 1:00 p.m. They are 9-3 overall and 7-0 in CACC play.
