NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - For the fourth year in a row, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Year plays for Wilmington University, as the Wildcats feature four Major Award Winners and six First Team All-CACC honorees, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Andrew Dzubak (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) becomes the fourth different Wildcat in the past four seasons to earn CACC Player of the Year status. Paul Army (Middletown, Del.) was voted as the 2025 CACC Defensive Player of the Year while backstop Daniel Flynn (New York, N.Y) was named the 2025 CACC Goalkeeper of the Year. Head skipper Christian Zwickert was voted as the CACC Coach of the Year for the second year in a row by the league's sports information directors.
Joining Dzubak, Army, and Flynn on the All-CACC First Team is midfielder Carter Earl (Penn Yan, N.Y.), defender Quinn Tracy (Seattle, Wash.), and short-stick defensive midfielder Tyler Quinn (Barnegat, N.J.), leading the CACC with six First Team All-CACC members.
Andrew Dzubak was voted the CACC Player of the Year, joining former Wildcats Giovanni Marino (2022), TJ Caton (2023), and Logan Stinson (2024). He led the CACC and is fifth in NCAA DII in scoring 3.62 goals per game and third in NCAA DII in averaging 5.54 points per game. On the year, he has 47 goals and 25 assists for 72 points, scoring 18 goals and 27 points in his final three games of the year. He set a season high with seven goals and five assists against Caldwell. He also had nine points with five goals and four assists at Bridgeport.
Paul Army anchors a defense that leads the CACC with an 8.42 goals against average, ranking 11th in NCAA DII. The graduate student transfer is tied for the team lead with 21 caused turnovers and leads the long poles with 35 ground balls on the year. He's had a season high three caused turnovers three times, scooping up a season high four ground balls twice. He is the third Wildcat to earn the CACC Defensive Player of the Year award, joining Connor Graser (2022) and Nick Bruhn (2023).
Daniel Flynn has played all but 88 minutes in goal for the Wildcats this season, making 133 saves for a .561 save percentage while carrying an 8.97 goals against average. He leads the CACC and is 11th in NCAA DII in GAA and ranks 17th in the country in save percentage. HE set a new Wilmington single game record with 24 saves against 18th ranked Molloy and added a pair of games with 13 saves each. Flynn is the second Wildcat to be named CACC Goalkeeper of the Year, joining Jason Roland in 2022.
Carter Earl was selected to his first All-CACC team, earning a spot as a midfielder. He started all 13 games for the Wildcats, scoring 21 goals while adding 15 assists for 36 points, ranking third on the team. He's scored a team high five goals on the man-advantage, adding five caused turnovers and 24 ground balls. He had a season high six points with five goals and an assist against Holy Family, adding a five-point game against Post with two goals and three assists.
Quinn Tracy helped Army and the defensive units to the lowest goals against average in the CACC, 8.42. He is seventh in the CACC and 53rd in NCAA DII in averaging 1.62 caused turnovers per game. Tracy has totaled 21 caused turnovers on the season, tying Army for the team high, adding 32 ground balls as well. He had a season high four caused turnovers at Bridgeport while adding three in a pair of games as well. He's scooped up a season high four ground balls in four games this year. He is a repeat First Team All-CACC honoree, making the team last year as well.
Tyler Quinn makes the jump to First Team All-CACC after earning Second Team honors last season. The short-stick defensive midfielder is seventh in the CACC in averaging 4.00 ground balls per game, including face-off specialists. Quinn is second on the team with 52 ground balls this year and has caused seven turnovers on the defensive end as well. He has scooped up ground balls and gone coast-to-coast multiple times this year, amassing five goals and two assists for seven points in transition. He had a season high seven ground balls against Dominican and recorded a hat trick against Caldwell.
It is the second year in a row that Christian Zwickert has been voted the CACC Coach of the Year, and the third time overall. He has led the Wildcats to undefeated CACC regular seasons in back-to-back seasons, winning 20 consecutive CACC regular season games dating back to 2023. He is now 60-38 all-time at Wilmington, coaching in his eighth season.
Holy Family's Jake Feeney was voted the CACC Rookie of the Year while Georgian Court picked up the Team Sportsmanship Award to round out the 2025 CACC Major Awards.
The top seeded Wildcats host No. 4 Post in the CACC Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday afternoon. The opening face-off is set for 3:30 p.m. at the WU Athletics Complex.
