Ronnie Sanna returns to the sidelines for the Wildcats for the 2026 season. He initially joined the Wildcats in the program's first season of competition in 2018 and coached through the 2022 season. He was elevated to Associate Head Coach at the start of the 2022 season. He is another Delaware native for head coach Christian Zwickert, having played and graduated from Salesianum High School. Sanna went on to be a four-year player at NCAA Division III Marymount University, earning a Bachelors of Health Science in 2012.

Coach Sanna went on to be an assistant coach at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 seasons. 

Upon returning to the First State, Sanna started coaching at the high school level, becoming the assistant offensive coordinator and faceoff coach at The Tatnall School in 2013. He then took over as the offensive coordinator and faceoff coach across town at Caravel Academy starting with the 2014 season. Sanna also spent the 2016 season as Princeton University's prospect coach.
