Andrew Dzubak Repeats as Player of the Year; Quinn Tracy Defensive Player of the Year as All-CACC Teams Announced

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - For the fifth straight year, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Year dons the Green and White, as Andrew Dzubak repeats for Wilmington University and Quinn Tracy adds the CACC Defensive Player of the Year, headlining a group of eight as the conference announced its all-conference teams on Tuesday.

Joining Andrew Dzubak and Quinn Tracy on the All-CACC First Team are midfielder Carter Earl and short stick defensive midfielder Tyler Quinn. The Wildcats also placed four on the All-CACC Second Team, as goalkeeper Daniel Flynn, midfielder Josh Weston, defender Julian Businsky, and face off specialist Connor Widmer were all voted by the league's head coaches.

It is the first time the Wildcats have had a two-time CACC Player of the Year, let alone in back-to-back years. A Wildcat has been voted the CACC Player of the Year each year since 2022. Quinn Tracy is the fourth CACC Defensive Player of the Year in program history and second in a row for the Wildcats.

Andrew Dzubak (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) leads the Wildcats with 48 goals and 16 assists for 64 points. He is 10th in NCAA Division II in scoring 3.43 goals per game and 17th overall in scoring 4.57 points per game. He had a season high eight points in the regular season finale against Holy Family, scoring six goals and adding two assists. He's had six points in three other game this year. He is joined by Giovanni Marino (2022), TJ Caton (2023), and Logan Stinson (2024) as CACC Players of the Year in program history.

Quinn Tracy (Seattle, Wash.) is a three-time First Team All-CACC performer, adding a CACC Defensive Player of the Year award now as well. He's started all 14 games this season, tied for the team lead with 22 caused turnovers. He also has 32 ground balls this year and is a key contributor to the team's 85.8 percent success rate on clears. His defensive unit is fourth in NCAA DII in only allowing 7.14 goals per game and fourth overall in forcing 12.86 turnovers a game. He is joined by Connor Graser (2022), Nick Bruhn (2023), and Paul Army (2025) as Wildcats who have been named CACC Defensive Players of the Year.

Carter Earl (Penn Yan, N.Y.) is a repeat First Team All-CACC performer, ranked second on the team with 34 points this year. He had 18 goals and is tied for second on the team with 16 assists, collecting a season high six points twice this year. He had four goals and two assists in the season opener at American International and two goals and four assists for six points at Dominican.

Tyler Quinn (Barnegat, N.J.) is a repeat First Team All-CACC performer and now a three-time All-CACC honoree. He leads all non-faceoff specialist with 39 grounds balls this year, scoring four goals while adding two assists as well. He also averages 1.33 caused turnovers a game, ranking 17th in the CACC. He's scored goals in transition against Mercy, Caldwell, Georgian Court, and Bridgeport this year.

Daniel Flynn (New York, N.Y.) is a two-time All-CACC performer, earning Second Team All-CACC this year. He is currently fourth in NCAA Division II with a 7.57 goals against average and 24th overall with a. 0.541 save percentage. He makes 8.00 saves per game, totaling 112 so far this season. He's had double digit saves five times this year, with a season high 16 at Dominican.

Josh Weston (Saskatoon, Sask.) earns an All-CACC nod for the first time in his career, adding to his 2024 CACC Rookie of the Year award. The midfielder is tied for second on the team with 24 goals, adding five assists for 29 points this year. He also has 30 ground balls and four caused turnovers. He had a season high four points at Dominican, scoring three goals with an assist. He's had a hat trick in four games this year.

Julian Businsky (Bel Air, Md.) earns an All-CACC nod for the first time in his career as well. He is currently 63rd in NCAA DII in averaging 1.57 caused turnovers per game, tied atop the team lead with 22. He is second on the team outside the face off specialist with 38 ground balls and is a key contributor to the team's 85.8 percent success rate on clears. His defensive unit is fourth in NCAA DII in only allowing 7.14 goals per game and fourth overall in forcing 12.86 turnovers a game.

Connor Widmer (Warwick, R.I.) also earns an All-CACC nod for the first time in his career. He is currently sixth in all of NCAA DII with a 0.674 win percentage in the circle, going 13-for-193 overall. He anchors the unit that is 2nd in all of NCAA DII with a 0.681 win percentage on the season. His 62 ground balls this year lead the team. He won a season 19 (of 22) faceoffs against Holy Family in the regular season finale.

Chestnut Hill's Preston page was named the CACC Rookie of the Year while by virtue the First Team All-CACC goalkeeper, Chestnut Hill's Adam Daley earns the CACC Goalkeeper of the Year as well. Holy Family's head coach Noah Morris was voted as the CACC Coach of the Year while Felician took home the CACC Team Sportsmanship Award to round out the Major Award winners.

The Wildcats begin their trek through the postseason on Wednesday at the WU Athletics Complex. The CACC Tournament semifinal round against Holy Family is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
