NEWARK, Del. - - A quartet of Wilmington University men's lacrosse student-athletes has been recognized as the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association has announced its 2026 All-American honorees.
Wildcat leaders Andrew Dzubak, Tyler Quinn, Daniel Flynn, and Conor Widmer were all named USILA Honorable Mention All-Americans this year, with Quinn and Widmer earning the honor for the second straight season.
The quartet led the Wildcats to its first CACC Tournament Championship in program history, finishing 12-5 overall while making its second straight trip to the NCAA DII North Region Tournament.
Andrew Dzubak (Putnam Valley, N.Y.), the two-time CACC Player of the Year, led the Wildcats with 68 points this year, scoring 52 goals to go with 16 assists on the season. He had a season high eight points with six goals and two assists at Holy Family and six points in three different games. He had a hat trick against Adelphi in the NCAA Tournament to cap his career.
Tyler Quinn (Barnegat, N.J.) is a two-time USILA All-American now, earning a Third Team nod as a junior. The short stick defensive midfielder played a crucial role on defense, in transition, and on face-offs. He led all non-FOGOs with 52 ground balls this season, adding four goals and two assists. He was the point person in clears in which the team held an 85.2 success rate. He also helped the defense to the fourth fewest goals allowed in Division II, giving up 7.65 goals a game. He had a season high seven ground balls against No. 12 Molloy.
Daniel Flynn (New York, N.Y.) highlighted a defense that finished fourth in NCAA DII in only allowing 7.65 goals per game. He was fifth overall, personally, in NCA DII, carrying an 8.04 GAA this season. He made a career high 16 saves at Dominican, adding five other games with double-digit saves, including 12 against No. 1 Adelphi in the NCAA Tournament.
Connor Widmer (Warwick, R.I.) is another two-time USILA Honorable Mention All-American honoree, dominating in the face-off circle again as a senior. He went 132-for-195 this year, good enough for a .680 success rate. As a team, the Wildcats were third in NCAA DII in winning .661 percent of their faceoffs while Widmer was fifth overall in NCAA DII. He also led the team this year with 62 ground balls.
Adelphi took home six of the eight Division II Major Awards. Kyle Lewis was named the Lt. Raymond J Enners Outstanding Player of the Year and the Lt. j.g. Donald MacLaughlin Jr. Outstanding Midfielder. The Panthers' Braden Donnellan was named the Lt. Col. JI Turnbull Outstanding Attackmen while teammate Ries Bower earned the William C. Schmeisser Defensive Player of the Year Award. Christian Tomie picked up the Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Outstanding Goalie Award while Carter Linkletter picked up the Long Pole Midfielder of the Year to round out the awards for Adelphi. Tampa's Harry Boland was named the Short Stick Defensive Midfielder of the Year while Florida Southern's Jacob Cyzy was named the Face-Off Player of the Year to complete the eight major awards.
