NEWARK, Del. - - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Regular Season and Tournament Champion Wilmington University men's lacrosse team wraps its 2026 season by being mentioned in the final National Polls by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association and USA Lacrosse Magazine.  

The Wildcats finished the season ranked No. 18 in the final poll of the Division II USA Lacrosse National Poll and receiving the most votes outside the Top 20 in the Division II USILA National Poll.

Wilmington won its first CACC Tournament Championship this season, defeating Chestnut Hill, 9-5, at the WU Athletics Complex. They advanced to their second straight NCAA DII North Region Tournament, falling to top seed Adelphi in the Second Round.

The Wildcats won the CACC Regular Season for the third year in a row and finished the 2026 season 12-5 overall.
