NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - Fifty-three student-athletes have qualified for the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of their team's games or start at least half.

The Wilmington University men's lacrosse team paced the CACC with a league high 13 student-athletes on the team. The Wildcats were led by CACC Top XVII Award winner Brendan Macdonell with a perfect 4.00 grade point average. The Wildcats also had seniors Patrick Crutchfield (3.89 GPA), Andrew Dzubak (3.58), Cole Hamberger (3.72), Kyle Parker (3.97). Tyler Quinn (3.88), Gunner Settar (3.76 UG/485 GR), Quinn Tracy (3.65), and Connor Widmer (3.70) earn a spot on the team. Juniors Daniel Flynn (3.87), Aidan Vicidomini (3.55), Domanik West (3.70), and Josh Weston (3.61) also earned their way onto the CACC All-Academic squad as well.

CACC champion Wilmington University topped the conference with 13 honorees. Georgian Court University placed nine players on the list. The complete set of winners can be viewed at the link above.

Brendan Macdonell of Wilmington owns a perfect 4.00 GPA. He heads a group of 11 student-athletes on the list who maintain an undergraduate GPA of 3.90 or higher.

The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year. Men's lacrosse became a conference championship sport in 2018.
