Four Student-Athletes and Men’s Lacrosse Team Honored with USILA Division II Academic Awards

NEWARK, Del. - - For the fifth year in a row, the Wilmington University men's lacrosse team has been honored with the 2026 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Team Academic Award in addition to four student-athletes being named 2026 Division II Scholar All-Americans.

Scholar All-Americans are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the USILA Scholar All-America Committee. To be eligible, student-athletes must have senior academic standing, a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.00, and be an All-American, member of a North/South team, or an outstanding conference player. He must also have behaved in a manner that brought credit to himself and his institution.

Andrew Dzubak (Putnam Valley, N.Y.), Connor Widmer (Warwick, R.I.), Tyler Quinn (Barnegat, N.J.), and Quinn Tracy (Seattle, Wash.) were all named USILA Scholar All-Americans, tying atop the CACC with four honorees. The four are a part of 12 total USILA Division II Scholar All-Americans from the CACC. The Wildcats and Chestnut Hill tied for the most with four honorees.

Programs must produce a team GPA of 3.00 or higher for the academic year to receive the USILA Team Academic Award. Wilmington University joined Bridgeport, Caldwell, Chestnut Hill, and Georgian Court in receiving that honor.

Wilmington won its first CACC Tournament Championship this season, defeating Chestnut Hill, 9-5, at the WU Athletics Complex. They advanced to their second straight NCAA DII North Region Tournament, falling to top seed Adelphi in the Second Round.

The Wildcats won the CACC Regular Season for the third year in a row and finished the 2026 season 12-5 overall.
