Prior to Wilmington: Graduated form The Tatnall School and enrolled at the University of Delaware, but did not participate in athletics.

High School: Three-year letterwinner at The Tatnall School as a striker – named First Team Top XI All-State as a junior in 2011 – also named All-Conference – also competed on the track team as a sprinter – won nine separate DIAA State Championships in track – helped break the school’s 4x400 and 4x800 team relay record – named All-State in the 4x400 team relay – earned honor roll as a senior.

Personal: Jordan Ortiz – son of Will and Dayra Ortiz – majoring in business at Wilmington University – from Bear, Del. – his favorite athlete is Kaka – the perfect meal would consist of pizza – if he could be the head coach of a team for a year, he would coach Real Madrid – his favorite cartoon character is Goku – if he could date a celebrity, he would date Meagan Good.
