NEWARK, Del. - - Sitting on the edge of their seats, hearts pounding, the Wilmington University men's soccer team finally had its name called to participate in the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Tournament, earning an at-large berth into the Super Region 1 Tournament as the No. 7 seed.

It is the team's seventh trip into the NCAA Tournament but the first since the 2021 season. This is the second time they have made the bracket since the NCAA went to the four Super Region Bracket format in 2021. The Super Region 1 Bracket combined the Atlantic and the East Regions.
