Theo Faillon and Alex Tarway Named United Soccer Coaches Men’s Soccer All-Region

NEWARK, Del. - - The United Soccer Coaches announced its 2025 Division II Men's All-East Region Teams on Tuesday and Wilmington University's men's soccer's Theo Faillon and Alex Tarway were a part of the two teams released today.

Theo Faillon (Allinges, France) was named a First Team All-Region forward while Alex Tarway was named a Second Team All-Region midfielder, both in their final seasons.

Faillon has been a dominant force in the CACC this year, leading the conference with 15 goals and 37 points, totals that also rank among the top three nationally in NCAA Division II. He scored in 13 of 19 matches, highlighted by a hat trick at Mercy University on October 8, and added seven assists and three game-winning goals. He missed two games early in the season and then broke his wrist in the regular season finale at Goldey-Beacom but returned four days later in the CACC Tournament First Round game against Felician.

Faillon's 15 goals rank second in the NCAA Division II this year, while his 37 points are also second in the country. He averaged 1.95 points per game, ranked fourth in the country. In two seasons at Wilmington, he has accumulated 38 goals and 13 assists for 89 points, going 14-of-16 from the penalty spot, including 6-for-6 this year and 2-for-2 in shootouts in the postseason. He moved up from a Second Team All-Region honors by the coaches a season ago.

Alex Tarway (Monrovia, Liberia) was a Second Team All-CACC performer for the Wildcats two seasons in a row. He appeared in all 21 games this fall, making 20 starts. He was third on the team with 21 points, scoring eight goals and adding five assists. He had back-to-back game-winning goals early in the season, first against American International and then at West Chester. He had a season high four points with a goal and two assists against Chestnut Hill. He scored a goal in the NCAA Division II Super Region 1 Tournament First Round against Roberts Wesleyan. His five assists are tied for ninth most in the CACC.

The United Soccer Coaches Division II All-American Teams will be announced on Thursday, December 11.
