#WilmUSoftball picked up a big doubleheader sweep against Post on Thursday, defeating the Eagles 3-0 and 9-1 at Asbury Field in a CACC matchup between a pair of teams that entered the day even in the standings at 6-6. The Wildcats, now 18-24 and 8-6 in conference play, move to two games ahead of Post and hold the winning percentage edge over Goldey-Beacom for fifth in the standings. Pitching was the story for Wilmington, as Olivia Hitchens, Karen Sickle, and Kasey Xenidis combined to allow one run on seven hits with 17 strikeouts across 12 innings.
