NEWARK, Del. - - Sprinters from each Wilmington University track and field team landed on the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region Teams, concluding the end of the 2024 outdoor regular season.

To be included in the USTFCCCA All-Region Team, individuals need to be in the top five in that event in the East Region, or a member of the top three ranked relay team in the East Region.

Temi Mustapha had the fourth best time in a 100-meter race in the East Region, landing her on the All-Region Team for the first time in her career. Her 12.04 at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Track and Field Championships tied her with Jenna Capolupo of D'Youville for fourth best in the East Region. Mustapha was the CACC Champion in the 100-meter event, earning First Team All-CACC as well. Mustapha's best qualifying time in the 100-meter with a wind under the +/- 2.0 meters per second standard also came at the CACC Championship, running a 12.16 in the preliminaries.

The combination of Rayhan Issah, Dallas Parker, Juan Fountain, and Matt Hibbert had the third fastest 4x100-meter relay time in the East Region this season, running a 41.67 at the IC4A/ECAC Championships hosted by George Mason in the final meet of the year. Only relay teams from Goldey-Beacom (41.24) and Southern Connecticut State (41.40) had faster relays than the Wildcats in the 2024 outdoor season.

The men finished second at the CACC Championships while the women placed a program best third in the conference championships.
