NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - Fifty-one student-athletes have qualified for the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. The players recognized represent all 10 conference schools that sponsor the sport.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at the end of the immediately preceding term, must be enrolled for at least two full-time semesters at his/her current institution, and must be a second-year student-athlete at his/her current institution. The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.
The Wilmington University women's track and field team placed four student-athletes on the CACC All-Academic Team, led by Amy and Angie Chomo with perfect 4.00 grade point averages. Joining the sisters on the All-Academic Team this year are juniors Tiffany Banning (3.99 GPA) and Camila Cornejo (3.60).
CACC champion Felician University saw 11 athletes honored, the most in the league. Holy Family University had 10 individuals named.
Among the honorees were six student-athletes with perfect 4.00 GPAs – Samantha Lonseth and Brenna Sullivan of Georgian Court University, Thomas Jefferson University's Sydney Huynh and Audrey Pham, and Amy Chomo and Angie Chomo of Wilmington University. They were part of a group of 14 athletes on the list with GPAs of 3.90 or higher.
