Four Wildcats Named 2026 USTFCCCA All-Region Performers

NEWARK, Del. - - All-Region honorees for the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and four Wilmington University student-athletes took home the top honors.

The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams.

Julian Jones led the Wildcats by being named All-Region in three events while Donte Dockery, Irvin Marable III, and Sytieia Brown were also named All-Region in one event this season.

Julian Jones was top three in all three distance events, ending the 2026 season at the top of the East Region in the 5000-meters. His time of 14:29.65 at the Danny Curran Invitational was 11 seconds faster than anyone else in the region. He was also tops in the CACC in 1500-meter event, finishing third in the East Region with a season's best time of 3:50.68 at the Delaware Invite. He was again tops in the CACC in the 10,000-meter, producing an East Region third best time of 31:51.72 at the Millersville Metrics. All three times are new WilmU Track and Field program records as well for Jones.

Irvin Marable III is a USTFCCCA All-Region performer in the 400-meter hurdle event, finishing with the fifth fastest time in the East Region this year. He snuck into the top five at the WU Last Chance Meet, running in 54.40 for the No. 5 spot. He is second in the CACC as well, behind only Goldey-Beacom's Jalen Wright who was third in the East Region.

Donte Dockery is the lone Wildcat still competing this spring, qualifying for the 2026 NCAA DII Track and Field National Championships. He had the East's top jump of the year, and DII's fifth best, at the Morgan State Legacy Meet, leaping a distance of 15.67 meters. He competes on Saturday, May 23, in Emporia, Kansas for the National Championship.

On the women's side, Sytieia Brown earned All-Region in one of the three throws. Her season best of 12.52 meters in the shot put not only won her the CACC Championship but was also third best in the East Region this season. She narrowly missed earning All-Region in the discus as well this year, finishing sixth in the East with a season's best toss of 40.16-meters at the Delaware Invite.

The four Wildcats were a part of 38 student-athletes and one relay team from the CACC named 2026 All-Region by the USTFCCCA. The CACC produced 19 individual men's performances by 12 different athletes while the women had 20 performances by 15 unique individuals.
