2023 Season (Softball): NCAA Elite 90 Award Winner - CACC Top XVI Award Winner

2022 Season (Softball): Appeared in 55 games making 52 starts- 2022 CACC All-Academic Team-  2022 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete- Second Team All-CACC (Util/P)- ranked tied for first on the team in doubles with 16 on year- ranked fourth on the team in hits with 49- led the team in SAC Bunts at 15-  ranked fourth in games played in the 2022 season at 55 games- on March 31^st against Felician Downin tied the program for doubles in a game (3) and went 4 for 4 at the plate, with two RBIs- appeared in 15 games in the circle, starting in eight- Downin struck out a season-high seven in a 5-3 win over Shippensburg on March 30^th in eight innings pitched- posted a 3-4 record- 34 strikeouts- 4.96 ERA.

2021 Season (Softball): 2021 CACC All-Academic Team – First Team All-CACC (Util/P) – CACC Rookie of the Week (4/19) - ranked first on the team in batting average at .374 – ranked first on the team in runs scored with 28 and tied for first in doubles with eight – during the week of 4/12 to 4/19, she led team with 13 hits and scored 8 runs at the plate, including her first career home run as a Wildcat on April 17^th at Post – during the same week, Downin struck out 13 and had an ERA of 0.84 – appeared in 15 games in the circle, starting in eight – posted a 6-2 record on the year – 37 strikeouts – 4.15 ERA.

2020 Season (Softball): 2020 season shortened due to COVID-19- CACC Pitcher of the Week (3/2) – appeared in eight games in the circle, starting in four as a true freshman.

High School: Played softball at Chesapeake High School in Pasadena, Md., as a pitcher for head coach Don Ellenberger – won two County Championships in 2017 and 2019 and one Regional Championship in 2019 – also played soccer for head coach Kevin Keeter – played basketball for head coach Maria Gray – Principals Honor Roll – Super Intendant’s Honor Roll.

Personal: Haley Elizabeth Downin – daughter of Laurie and Leroy Downin – has two brothers, Chase and Ty – her cousin Mark Bloomquist played four years of lacrosse at Loyola and cousin Collin Tokosh played four years of lacrosse at Salisbury – from Pasadena, Md. – majoring in psychology at Wilmington University – her favorite athlete is Michael Jordan – she will listen to any country song before playing – her biggest pet peeves are when Styrofoam rubs together and when people leave bedroom doors open – if she could be someone else for a day she would be Jenny Finch – she also enjoys basketball and soccer when not playing softball- favorite movies of all-time are Space Jam and The Internship – considers her dad her “hero” in life.
