Women’s Basketball Earns Team Sportsmanship Award as CACC Announces 2025-26 All-CACC Teams and Major Awards

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - For the second time in program history, the Wilmington University women's basketball team has earned the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Team Sportsmanship Award as the conference office announced its 2025-26 All-Conference Awards and Major Award winners on Wednesday.

It is the first time since the 2022-23 season the Wildcats earned the CACC Team Sportsmanship Award and just the second time ever.

Holy Family's Taylor Hinkle was named the CACC Player of the Year, while her teammate, Ella Brown, as well as Dominican's Ketura Rutty were voted the CACC Rookies of the Year. Felician's Ane Valle was named the CACC Defensive Player of the Year, while Holy Family's Bernadette Laukaitis was voted as the CACC Coach of the Year.
