Emma Brown Named to Women’s Basketball CSC Academic All-District Team

NEWARK, Del. - - The College Sports Communicators announced its 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team and Wilmington University's Emma Brown of was recognized as one of the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

The Wildcat is one of 38 student-athletes from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference who earned Academic All-District.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District nomination, the student-athlete must excel in both the field of play and the classroom. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, AND compete in 90 percent of the institution's games or start in at least 66 percent of the games, along with several other criteria.

Emma Brown (Wilmington, Del.) led the Wildcats in scoring 11.5 points per game while finishing second in the CACC in grabbing 9.7 rebounds a game. She was 11th in all of NCAA DII in bringing in 4.1 offensive rebounds per game. Brown had nine double-doubles this year with a season high 22 points against Holy Family and 22 rebounds against Goldey-Beacom. She is carrying a 3.75 cumulative GPA while studying for her psychology degree.

The 2025-26 Women's Basketball CSC All-America Team will be announced on Tuesday, April 14.
