Women’s Bowling Begins 2025-26 Season This Weekend at the Bud Whitman Memorial

NEWARK, Del. - - The Wilmington University bowling team is set to play nine regular-season tournaments in order to get dialed in for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship in March, as head coach John York announces the 2025-26 schedule.

The Wildcats are searching for their first CACC Championship and the journey begins with the season opener on Saturday, October 11, in day one of the Bud Whitman Memorial. The season culminates with the CACC Championship that starts on Friday, March 20.

Pins begin falling this Saturday with the Bud Whitman Memorial hosted by Chestnut Hill. The Wildcats will then compete in the Golden Bear Invite to start November and then battle members of the conference in the first CACC Meet of the regular season, hosted by Dominican in New City, New York. The 2025 portion of the schedule ends at the Coppin State Invitational on November 15 and 16.

The New Year starts with the three-day Northeast Classic on their home lanes, hosted by Sacred Heart on January 16. The Griffin Baker Classic takes place on January 31 and then the Wildcats host the first of their two home meets, the Wildcats DII Invitational, on February 13-15.

The Wildcats then jostle for postseason positioning with the CACC Meet 2 hosted by Felician on February 28-March 1 before hosting the Northeast Region Roundup in the regular season finale on March 14-15.

The CACC Championship is set to take place at Pike Lanes in Southamption, Pennsylvania, starting on Friday, March 20.
