NEWARK, Del. - - Ella Royer's senior season was recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), as the Wilmington University standout has been named a First Team All-East Region performer.

Ella Royer (Sherwood Park, Alberta) becomes the first Wilmington women's lacrosse student-athlete to ever be named IWLCA All-Region.

The midfielder led the Wildcats and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with 101 goals and 129 points this season. It is the second year in a row she has eclipsed the 100-goal milestone and third straight season with more than 100 points. She also led the team and the CACC with 91 draw controls this year and was tied for third on the team with 23 caused turnovers.

In six postseason games this season, the three-time CACC Player of the Year Royer led the Wildcats with 28 goals, 38 points, and 26 draw controls, averaging 6.33 points per game. She had a season high 10 points with seven goals and three assists against D'Youville, adding nine points twice this year as well. She had a season high of eight goals in three different games.

Ella Royer and the rest of the 128 All-Region student-athletes are now eligible for selection to a national IWLCA All-American Team. The IWLCA Will announce the Division II 2026 All-American Teams on May 20.
