A stout defensive effort on Wednesday has #WilmUWLax at 9-0 on the season, defeating Roberts Wesleyan, 16-6, at the WU Athletics Complex in the team's final nonconference game of the year. Despite being outshot, 24-23, the Wildcats, anchored by sophomore goalkeepers Ashleigh Lawry and Allison Schiavone, only allowed three goals in each half. Lawry made eight stops in the first half before Schiavone came on and recorded four stops in the second half. Kirra Crowley paced the offense with five goals and an assist, adding five draws, and two caused turnovers. Alea Javorowsky had a goal and five assists while both Anastasia Giannoulis and Ella Royer added two goals and two assists each. Royer chipped in with five draws as well. Lea Rycroft and Tristan Holdsworth finished with three goals as well.
