2014 Season (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in 14 games in her first season as a Wildcat, making 13 starts – strong center back and defensive midfielder for the Wildcats – scored a goal and added an assist for a total of three points on the year – recorded 11 shots on the year, five of which were on goal – lone goal of the year came in the 33^rd minute against Chestnut Hill on September 23, the eventual game winner – assist came against Nyack on October 25.

High School: four year letter-winner in soccer and volleyball from Appoquinimik High School in Middletown DE under the head coaches Adam Bear (soccer) and Christie Boyd (volleyball)- in her senior year she was named second team all-state and second team all-conference

Personal: Alexa Rae Smalley – daughter to Glen and Kathy Smalley – has an older brother, Matt – majoring in elementary education at Wilmington University with aspirations to become a special education teacher – from Middletown, Del. – favorite athlete is Abby Wombach – if she could date an athlete, she would date Tim Howard – her favorite movie is the Blind Side – if she could be someone else for a day, she would be Sydney Leroux – her favorite professional sports teams at the US Women’s National Team – her favorite meal is lasagna.
