CALDWELL, N.J. - - The Wilmington University women's soccer team played to its third consecutive draw on Saturday, scoring late to tie Caldwell, 1-1, on the road in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at the Caldwell Athletics Field.

The Wildcats are unbeaten in their last six matchups, going 2-0-4 during that stretch, including three straight ties. They are now 6-1-6 overall and 3-0-5 in CACC play, garnering 14 points to sit in fourth place.

The Cougars scored early in the game, capitalizing on a corner kick in the eighth minute. Caldwell led, 8-6, in shots at the halftime break.

Indigo Kirk had a great chance in the 52nd minute, standing alone on the back post after a long cross. But her shot hit off the post and the game stayed 1-0.

The Wildcats would tie the game in the 77th minute as Eboni Bradshaw found the back of the net for the ninth time this year. After a set piece right at midfield, the clearance came right to Indigo Kirk. She found a seam down the middle, feeding Bradshaw at the penalty spot. Bradshaw one-touched it over the keeper and under the crossbar for the 1-1 tie.

The Wildcats had a chance in the final seconds of the game, as Bradshaw sprang loose down the right side. But her shot got deflected and slowed the pace down, allowing the Caldwell goalkeeper to make the save as the horn sounded.

Wilmington led in shots, 13-12, for the game, including 7-4 in the second half. Caldwell led in shots on goal, 6-5, and took more corners, 4-2. Arianna Myers made five saves in goal for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats had the midweek bye and return to action next Sunday when they travel to Felician. The opening kick is set for 12:00 p.m. in Rutherford, New Jersey.
