Eboni Bradshaw Named CACC Rookie of the Year; Joins Evelyn Payne on CACC First Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - The attacking tandem of Eboni Bradshaw and Evelyn Payne has been recognized for their play throughout the 2025 season, as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced its All-CACC Teams and Major Award winners on Wednesday afternoon.

Eboni Bradshaw (Manchester, England) was voted as the CACC Rookie of the Year by the league's 12 head coaches, earning First Team honors as well in her freshman campaign. Teammate Evelyn Payne (Wilmington, Del.) was also voted to the First Team All-CACC for the first time in her career.

Eboni Bradshaw becomes just the second Wilmington University women's soccer student-athlete to be named the CACC Rookie of the Year, joining Kirsten Stallone from 2007.

The freshman is currently second in the CACC with 11 goals and 30 points, ranking 19th in all of NCAA DII in points and 15th in the country with 1.76 points per game. She started the year with a goal and an assist against No. 17 Adelphi and never slowed down. She had a season-high three goals and an assist for seven points against Lincoln (Pa.) and had her only two-assist game of the year against Holy Family.

Evelyn Payne elevates to the First Team All-CACC after being named a Second Team performer the last two years. Payne finished third on the team with 15 points, scoring four goals and adding seven assists. Her seven assists are second on the team wand tied for seventh in the CACC. She had a goal and an assist twice this year, first at Dominican and again at St. Thomas Aquinas. She had a season-high two assists against Lincoln (Pa.).

Jefferson's Nikki Dedes was voted as the CACC Player of the Year while teammate Carly Yeager took home the CACC Defensive Player of the Year for the third year in a row. Caldwell's netminder Ariana Gaminara was selected as the CACC Goalkeeper of the Year by virtue of being the First Team goalkeeper. Her coach, Sammy Adjei, was voted the CACC Coach of the Year.

The Wildcats are still alive in the CACC Tournament, playing for the Championship on Saturday afternoon. They will face Caldwell on the campus of Post University with a 12:00 p.m. opening start.
