PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - - The completion of a key Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's tennis matchup will have to wait until Monday, as the contest between Wilmington and Jefferson was halted following doubles competition on Saturday.

Looking to avenge their only loss of the season, the Wildcats headed to Jefferson on Saturday to get back even in the CACC Standings with one week left prior to the postseason.

Saturday started with getting the doubles matches in, but then the match was halted due to rain in the area. The Wildcats were able to take the doubles' point and will carry a 1-0 lead into Monday's continuation.

Siana MacDonald and Ines Oliveira won at No. 2 doubles, 6-1, while Gloria Barcaro and Elena Camacho won by the same score, 6-1, at No. 3 for the point. Jefferosn's Anouk and Alycia Veroux defeated Molly Carlberg and Ming-Fu Chen, 6-4, at No. 1 doubles to avoid the clean sweep.

The match will continue on Monday at the Abraham J. Slaman Tennis Courts on the campus of Jefferson University.
