VIDEO: Volleyball vs Jefferson

Kacey Affrunti and Heather Pedrick led the Wilmington University volleyball team to its fifth straight win, coming back and defeating Jefferson, 3-1, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference South Division battle at the WU Athletics Complex on Tuesday night. The win was the fifth in a row for the Wildcats as they are now 7-1 in their last eight matches overall. The Wildcats are now 8-11 overall and 6-2 in CACC play, evening the season series with Jefferson, 1-1, as the Rams won the first matchup in Philadelphia, 3-2. Kacey Affrunti put down 17 kills with only two errors on 30 swings, finishing with a .500 attack percentage. She also had a hand on 10 of the team's 13 blocks on Tuesday, coming away with eight block assists and two solo blocks. Six of her kills came in the third set when she hit .750 without committing an error.
