NEW HAVEN, Conn. - - An impressive debut has led to Jaylin Horsey to being named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week, helping the team to a 1-1 start over the weekend.

It is the first time the men's basketball program has had a CACC Rookie of the Week since the 2018-19 season when Tyler Norwood and Jordan Harding earned the weekly nod throughout the season.

The Wildcats make their home debut on Wednesday when they host Shippensburg at the WU Athletics Complex. They cap a nonconference doubleheader in Newark with an opening tip scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
