    Justin Perez's offensive explosion on Senior Night led #WilmUMLax to a season-ending victory on Saturday, as they defeated Dominican, 90-81, at the WU Athletics Complex in the final CCACC contest of the campaign. The Wildcats finish the season on a positive note, as they finish 2025-26 with a 6-14 conference record and a 10-18 mark overall. Dominican's loss settles them into the sixth seed in the upcoming CACC Tournament. Justin Perez led all scorers with his 33 points, going 6-11 from deep and 7-8 at the line. He also pulled down four rebounds and registered an assist in his final collegiate game. The rest of the seniors in the starting lineup played well too, as Jordan Moore reached 10 points with three rebounds, Hiram Alexander picked up nine points with a team-high seven rebounds and two steals, and Fidel Mpanzo scored five with three rebounds and two assists across 22 minutes, the most he's played as a Wildcat. Jaiden Guy was second on the team with 15 points, also pulling down five rebounds with four assists and three steals. With the win, Wilmington's record improves to 9-17, though their 5-13 conference mark still positions them in last place and a game and a half back of three teams that sit at 6-11. Jaylin Horsey led all scorers with 19 points while adding two rebounds, an assist, and two steals. Jaiden Guy continued his recent hot streak with an 18-point, four-assist performance, Tre Hawkins racked up his eighth double-double of the year on 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Justin Perez picked up 15 points alongside four assists and three rebounds. Denim Perkins was the fifth Wildcat to dip into double-digit scoring with 12 points, while also adding five rebounds and leading the team with five assists. The result flips the two teams in the CACC standings, as Wilmington now sits in seventh place with a 3-4 conference record (7-8 overall), and Chestnut Hill is in tenth out of eleven schools with their 2-4 conference mark (4-9 overall). Five Wildcats reached double-digit point totals in the game, led by Akeem Taylor off the bench with 19. Taylor also finished tied with Jaiden Guy (16 points) and Tre Hawkins (10 points) for the team lead of six rebounds. Denim Perkins had a good day shooting as well, going 5-6 from the floor (including 3-4 from beyond the arc) for 13 points while dishing out his customary healthy dose of assists with five. The Wildcats (4-5, 1-3 CACC) shot 63.2 percent from the field (24-of-38) in the second half, including 5-of-7 from three-point territory to blow open the contest on their home court. The Wildcats shot 59.4 percent from the floor for the game, including 8-of-16 from deep. The Wildcats outscored the Lightning (4-3, 2-2 CACC), 56-28, in the paint, and 25-11 off turnovers. Jaiden Guy scored 18 of his game-high 25 points in the second half, adding eight assists, five rebounds, and two steals as well. Tre Hawkins scored 23 points and 11 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the year. Akeem Taylor added 12 points with seven rebounds while Denim Perkins and Jaylin Horsey scored 11 points each.
