2019 Season (Sophomore): appeared in 15 contests, starting in all 15 on attack – scored 18 goals and led the team with 14 assists – finished third on the team with 32 points – collected 34 ground balls and had seven caused turnovers – had 88 shots, 49 of them on goal – had a season high four goals against Barton – had a season high five points twice, first against Chowan (3G, 2A), and again at Felician (3G, 2A) – also had two assists against SUNY Poly

2018 Season (Freshman): Appeared and started in all 13 games as an attacker for the Wildcats – scored two goals on 16 shots on the season and had five assists – collected 18 groundballs and had one caused turnover – scored his first collegiate goal at Chowan on March 7 – made two assists in 14-10 win over Davis & Elkins on March 29 – collected a season-high three groundballs twice, first against Davis and Elkins on March 29 an again against Georgian Court on April 27 – finished with a .625 shot on goal percentage – finished the season with a total of seven points.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at an attackman at St. George’s Vo-Tech for head coach Nate Gorski – helped lead the team to three straight Blue Hen Flight B Conference Championships in his final three years at St. George’s – named First Team All-Conference.

Personal: Austin Cole Wood – son of Don and Donna Wood – has two older siblings, Jessica and Brody – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a game warden – from Middletown, Del. – also enjoys hunting and fishing – most memorable sports moment is winning the Flight B Conference Championship three times in high school.
