NEWARK, Del. - - Scoring surges in the first and third quarters lifted the Wilmington University men's lacrosse team over Felician on Saturday, as they won 19-2 at the WU Athletics Complex in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference matchup.

The Wildcats scored seven goals in the first quarter and eight in the third on their way to their 25th straight win against conference opponents in the regular season. Wilmington remains perfect in conference with a 5-0 record and a 7-4 mark overall. Felician, meanwhile, is still looking for its first CACC victory of the season and sits at 1-6 overall on the year.

Senior Kyle Parker got the party started 42 seconds into Wilmington's Senior Day match, and then Gavin Paraschak kept it going about 80 seconds later, and then Cole Heinold notched the team's third goal before Parker got his second of the day. Ian Betts, Josh Lovely, and Andrew Dzubak all scored in the first as well for the early 7-0 lead. Despite taking 14 shots in the second quarter, only two more Wildcat goals were scored to send Wilmington into the break with a 9-0 shutout.

The offensive dial got turned back to max in the third for the Wildcats, with a barrage of goals burying the Golden Falcons by the time it was all said and done. Josh Lovely opened the scoring just 16 seconds into the half, and then Carter Barrie and Carter Earl each scored about a minute apart. Felician finally got on the board at the 3:46 mark after a Santiago Figueroa goal, but four more Wilmington shots found the back of the net in the final 3:02 of the period.

The scoring cooled off in the second period of the half again, with only Dzubak and Nathan Liederman scoring. A lone Felician goal was scored in the seventh minute to bump their total for the game to two.

Andrew Dzubak led the way with four goals for Wilmington, while four other Wildcats had two. Patrick Craig led the team with three assists, and Gavin Paraschak was right behind him with two.

Connor Widmer and Brian McGarvey held the ground ball lead in the game with five each, with Kyle Parker leading non-faceoff players with four. Four different Wildcats caused multiple turnovers in the game as part of a 17-caused-turnover effort by the defense.

Connor Widmer (11-12), Aidan Vicidomini (5-5), and Brian McGarvey (5-6) dominated the faceoff game, combining to not allow Felician to win a faceoff until inside the final seven minutes of the game.

Daniel Flynn started in goal and picked up the win before ceding duties to Parker Erwin, Carter Trevisan, and Caleb Secrist over the rest of the game. Each player made one save.

The Wildcats will have one more home game in the 2026 regular season, and it comes next Saturday, April 4, against Bridgeport. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Newark.
