Rachel Seiverd joins the Wilmington University softball coaching staff for the 2025-26 season. Seiverd, a St. Georges Tech graduate, returns to New Castle after a successful playing and coaching career at East Stroudsburg University.

Following a playing career for the Warriors (2018-22), Seiverd stayed in the Poconos as a graduate assistant coach for the Warriors in 2023. She was a part of the Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year, helping the Warriors to the NCAA Softball Championships held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Seiverd was a four-year player for the Warriors as a catcher and first baseman from 2019-22.

Seiverd returns to New Castle and is a Health and Physical Education Teacher at George Read Middle School. She earned her BS in Health and Physical Education in 2022 and her master's in Management and Leadership in Sports Business in 2023 from East Stroudsburg.
