Women’s Lacrosse Places Five on 2023 CACC All-Academic Team
May 30, 2023Sixty-six (66) student-athletes on Thursday were named to the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. All 11 CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.

May 06, 2023Wrapping up their 2023 regular season as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference’s No. 3 seed, the Wilmington University women’s lacrosse team finished with a 13-5 overall record and an 8-2 mark in the CACC. The Wildcats defeated the Purple Knights of the University of Bridgeport to face off against Jefferson in their fourth consecutive semi-final appearance on Saturday, May 6 at 2:30 pm.

April 29, 2023For the first time since the 2007 season, #WilmUWLax defeated Georgian Court, hanging on down the stretch for a 16-15 CACC victory on Saturday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. The win not only snapped a 22-game losing streak to the Lions (9-8, 8-2 CACC), but also tied the single-season program record with 12 wins. The win also propelled the Wildcats (12-5, 8-2 CACC) to the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CACC Tournament. They will host No. 6 Bridgeport on Tuesday at the WU Athletics Complex in the First Round.
